Our Services
Behavior Consultation
Not in need of one-on-one services for your child, but would like to consult with a provider to discuss behavioral challenges? Behavior Consult services are designed to assist parents and caregivers with useful tools to help their children and teenagers be successful in their home and community settings.
Intensive Services: Over Age 3
1-Step Ahead provides one-on-one ABA services to individuals from age 3 though adulthood through your insurance or local regional center. Their treatment plan will be tailored to the needs of your child and family to help address behavioral excesses and skill deficits. Some areas of focus include improving functional communication, self-care/self-help skills, and reducing socially significant challenging behavior.
School Based Services
1-Step Ahead provides behavior support services to various school districts in San Diego and Riverside County.

1-Step Ahead is also here to help families during the IEP process. This can be a confusing and frustrating process, but we are here to help and walk you through any questions you may have!
Sleep Training
In need of some good quality sleep, but your child still has not mastered the art of "sleeping through the night?"
1-Step Ahead can provide you with the tools you need to help you get the sleep you need!
Early Start Services: Under Age 3
We provide early intervention through the San Diego Regional Center for children 0-3 years of age. During this program, we will assess your little one in the areas of cognition, social/play skills, self-help, physical development, communication, and address any socially significant challenging behavior. If you have any concern with your young child's development, please contact
1-Step Ahead, and we can help walk you through the process to get evaluated with
San Diego Regional Center.
Toilet Training
From intensive to more gentle methods, 1-Step Ahead can provide you with the help you need to get your child out of their diapers or pull-ups and into "big kid" undies!
